Copy/ Backup music from ipod touch free and easy to PC
After struggling for ages to copy my music from my ipod touch to my PC without syncing it (and inevitably loosing my tunes) I’ve found a simple solution:
use Winamp and download an itunes plugin!
I managed to copy all the music from my Ipod touch (first generation – i don’t have the second generation, so cant say that it works but the website says that it works with most ipods) to my PC (Windows Vista SP2).
The downside of this is that it takes a while to copy, but at least you don’t loose all your music!

How to copy the music from the ipod touch to your PC:
1.Download and Install Winamp (if you havent already done so – link at top of the page)
2. Close Winamp (if it already is open), and download and install the Ipod plugin for Winamp
3. Start up winamp
