Poets of the fall new album: Revolution Roulette – initial thoughts
I’ve just received my copy of the new album: Revolution Roulette in the post this morning and this afternoon (while cleaning my room – and again procrastinating my Animation Project :p) i checked out Poets of the Fall’s new album.
This new album has a new sound to it – its defiantly got the ‘poets of the fall’ feel of the previous two outstanding albums, but this third album is different….hard to describe, you have to listen for yourself.
There’s a mixture of heavy tracks The Ultimate Fling , Red hot chili pepper inspired track "Psychosis", and the slower ballad songs such as "Fragile" & "Where Do We Draw the Line?" There isn’t a track on the album i don’t like – Marcos vocals and Olli’s guitar are awesome!
Overall, this album is very good – each poets album has a different sound, potf deserve mainstream recognition – and play here in the UK
I’m looking forward to the offspring’s new album due out this summer
